Front-end for Silicon Photomultipliers
We design in-house the front-end for Silicon Photomultipliers, tailoerd to the measurement needs. Typical specifications for the circuits are high-speed, for timing measurements with SiPMs coupled to scintillator crystals, or low-noise and high-gain, for the measurements of single photons and for the dark count characterization. We have also designed signal shaping filters for improving the SiPM performance in timing measurements. We simulate and characterize different circuit configurations for obtaining the desired characteristics.
For the SiPM characterization, we have also been working on fast LED pulsers and low-noise, programmable power supplies.
